Seek Intimacy With God

The greatest truth in the entire world is that God wants a relationship with YOU! He wants to share a strong, close friendship and family relationship with each and every one of His people. But that doesn’t happen instantaneously or automatically. As followers of Christ we need to invest time each day getting to know God more and better, and developing our relationship with Him. Corporately, this happens when we gather together for worship each week on Sunday morning, as we praise & thank Him for all that He’s doing in our lives, and learn more about Him from His word. Individually, this happens when we spend time talking to Him each day – in prayer – and listening to Him and learning from Him each day – by looking to the Bible.

Strive For Maturity In Our Relationship With God

Growth, development, and maturity happens through relationships. God never intended for you to go through this life all alone! That’s why each of us needs a strong close relationship with Him, but we also need strong, close, friendships with one another as well. God’s word teaches us that “iron sharpens iron” – that means that we all need each other and that we’re better together than we ever could be on our own. That’s why at Cornerstone, we connect in various ways in order to grow spiritually, develop meaningful relationships, and experience genuine Christian community. Our Iron Men Group for guys, our ALIVE Group for women, along with FUSION for teens and several different children’s Sunday school groups all offer unique opportunities to grow deeper in your relationship with God, connect with others at Cornerstone, expand the vision of what God can do in your life, and just plain have fun and make new friends!

Serving God & Others With Our Spiritual Gifts

God has given certain gifts, talents, skills, and abilities to each and every Christ-follower! When we begin to use our God-given gifts and abilities to serve and bless others and to help accomplish God’s mission, we live out God’s purpose for our lives! There is nothing better than allowing God to use you exactly where He has gifted you to serve! That’s why at Cornerstone, we strive to help you discover how you’re wired, give you the training you need, and offer many creative opportunities to serve. We are always open to new, innovative ways to minister to the community and beyond.

Sharing God’s Story With Others

The greatest story ever told was that Jesus Christ left Heaven and came to Earth. He was born in the manger, He died on the cross, then He rose from the grave so that you and I could have our sins forgiven and have a relationship with the God of Heaven. That’s the greatest story ever told – and it’s 100% true! If you’ve trusted in Christ and invited Him into your life, then you already know, believe in, and benefit from this story. But there are many others who don’t know or haven’t heard, and as Christ-followers, it’s our responsibility to share God’s story with them. That’s why at Cornerstone, we provide training, events, and ministries that are designed to share God’s story so that every man, woman, and child in our area can have the opportunity to begin a relationship with Jesus Christ.
